The Downeast Bluegrass & Oldtime Music Society is a not for profit organization, registered with Joint Stock Companies of Nova Scotia, registration # 1253983.
The Downeast Bluegrass & Oldtime Music Society is made up of members of all affiliated Chapters in Nova Scotia, as well as folks from many areas that may or may not belong to an affiliated Chapter.
The Downeast Bluegrass & Oldtime Music Society also has a number of Lifetime Members.
Any Downeast Bluegrass & Oldtime Music Society member is entitled to have a vote at any Downeast Bluegrass & Oldtime Music Society official meeting and will also receive a ballot for the annual awards.
